Step 5. If additional tightening is necessary, use a soft cloth on the nut. Do this to protect the finish. Then, tighten the gear with a wrench.
Step 6. Lastly, check for leaks and tighten as needed.

Step 1. Hold the body of the showerhead firmly in one hand. With the other hand, turn the ribbed ring behind the face counterclockwise to unscrew.
Step 2. Grasp the white filter cartridge and pill cartridge up and to the side to remove.
Step 3. Remove the stickers from both sides of the cartridge before you install it. Placed the new filter cartridge into position by pushing the round down into the cavity until seated.
Step 4. Lastly, align the threads until the faceplate clock into the cavity. After this, turn the entire faceplate clockwise until you know it is already secured.

Step 1. With the shower head open, remove the filter cartridge, rotate the round 180 degrees and then flip the cartridge front to back.
Step 2. Replace the cartridge in this new orientation and then replace the faceplate and tighten until you are satisfied.
Step 3. Move out of the path of the water and then turn the shower on. You may notice some discolored water coming from the shower head for some time. This is normal, this is the built-up sediment that was clogging the screens in the cartridge and causing the reduction of water flow.
How do I know when I already have to change filters?
Usually, manufacturers recommend replacing the filters every six (6) months with an average of 10,000 – 12,000 gallons of water consumption.
How many gallons per minute (GPM) does this showerhead have?

Things to Remember
The filter cartridge is reversible and may be used in either direction. Once you have completed this procedure, your round will continue to supply precise and clean water for full 10,000 gallons.
This filtration system may not be very advisable for drinking water purposes.
See to it that the filter is protected against freezing. Freezing can cause cracking of the filter and will eventually result in water leakage.
In cleaning the shower head, do not use harsh chemicals or abrasives such as chlorine bleach, cleaning fluids, or abrasive pads.
Do not use the filter with water that is microbiologically unsafe or of unknown quality the adequate disinfection before and after the unit.
Do not pull on the shower head or shower arm for support. The contaminants and other substances which were removed or reduced by this water treatment device may not necessarily be in your water.
